How to Prepare

Feeding Kiddos

Please feed the kiddos before you arrive and make sure they drink plenty of water. I know the session is only 10 minutes, but we all know kids can make-or-break 10 minutes! “Rewards” (aka bribes) are…um…encouraged! A jelly bean, a sticker, ice cream after the shoot…whatever will make your ten minutes the most successful is an A+ in my book.

What to Wear

This particular shoot will focus on the kids with a few Valentine’s Day props. The backdrop is going to be a light pink, so having your child wear WHITE or RED would be great! If your child is under 1 year, just a simple white diaper would be adorable. I will also have a red tutu and pink tutu (pettiskirt) available for anyone who wants to use them!

  • I have two children…do I need two slots? No, you’ll be amazed what we can capture in just 10 minutes!
  • Is this kids only? The intention of this is for the kiddos only, but if you’d like to spend your time with them I am of course all for it! NOTE: Sometimes young babies are intimidated by the set-up so please come dressed in case you are in the photos whether by choice or not.
  • Do I get to see all of the images? Just as with all Brooke Bryand Photography sessions, you are hiring me to choose the best-of-the-best! You will have the top five images available for download in an online gallery.
