Aidan is here! You may remember Kim + Alex’s fabulous maternity shoot just last month…and now Aidan is here!
He was…on the record…the most chill newborn baby I have ever met! He was awake for most of our session, but was completely happy just laying there while I prodded, poked, rearranged, undressed, redressed and moved him all over their house! What a trooper. Welcome, Baby Aidan!
Plum District has LOTS of great stuff happening and there is a story coming out about their incredible “army of moms” that are making incredible careers for themselves while balancing their little ones.

Ironically, this is my third post that involves neighbors, but these are different neighbors! Shep + Sandra live across the street from us, yet we met them because it turns out we had multiple sets of mutual friends and they all raved about how fantastic they are and that we had to meet them! All of them were SO RIGHT! Shep has been (accurately) described as, “the nicest guy you have ever met” – he keeps his cool with two energetic boys while singing songs and keeping a fabulous smile on his face. Sandra is the glue that keeps the family moving and to see the four of them together is simply magic. I am so honored that they asked me to take their family photos! We started in one portion of the Presidio and moved to another portion (Lover’s Lane in the Presidio) for the second half of the shoot. We had a great time running around and I’m pretty sure the boys weren’t the only ones who needed a nap afterwards – ha ha!
Here are some of my favorite images from our shoot in the Presidio…I am reminded how fortunate we are to be in San Francisco where backdrops like these are all over the place!
