(Re)introducing - Brooke Bryand Creative
After nearly 12 years, I've made a slight physical change to the business, yet monumental emotional change in who I serve. I started in 2009 as a photographer...a family photographer specifically. After 9 years of capturing so many beautiful families, I was burnt out. Plain and simple. I needed a change and I needed to fall in love with my camera again.
I transferred the business from families to corporations and got to scratch my marketing itch that I love so much. While I love (LOVE) taking photos and video, what sets my soul on fire is using my marketing background to think like a marketing executive. I want to fill the gaps for her (well, a "her" in my buyer/brand persona exercise…her name is Sarah…more on that in another post). My brand persona, Sarah, is BUSY. She loves the creative part of her job, but doesn't have the time to deal with the minutia. She is juggling sales goals and marketing plans and wants to get it all done (and kicking ass while doing it - no halfway for her), but executing the creative ideas is a time suck luxury Sarah does not have.
Enter me.
I’m not "just" the photographer...I am a creative extension of the marketing team. I am there to execute the ideas, to build upon them and make my "Sarah" SHINE. I’m there to take creative risks, to try and try again, and to bring visual assets back to Sarah that she can then integrate with her plan and share with the world.
So yes, after 12 years, I felt I was in a box with "Brooke Bryand Photography". I want more. I’ve done more. And I’m ready to take up space and BE MORE.
